Why does traffic stop when I set IC Control as my default gateway?

IC Control is not a router, switch, or gateway. Rather, it is a transparent bridge and will not forward any network traffic that it receives from another routing device. A transparent bridge is a device that connects network segments with other bridges to make all routing decisions. As a transparent bridge, network devices associated with a IC Control do not know of its presence on the network. IC Control performs various functions to monitor all network traffic, such as recording, shaping, and blocking network traffic as it passes through the bridge.
