Store Payment Failures

When placing a purchase through our website sometimes we have problems processing your payment.  There can be a variety of reasons and most of the time it involves entering updated information or contacting your credit card company.  Below is a list of all of the errors and our recommended next steps.

 

The following errors indicate information was entered incorrectly or you need to contact your credit card provider:

  • "We could not verify the address for this payment method."
  • "We could not verify your security code. Please try re-entering or contact your payment provider directly."
  • "Your credit card number is invalid. Please try re-entering it, or contact your credit card provider directly."
  • "We could not verify your card expiration date. Please try re-entering it, or contact your credit card provider directly."
  • "Your payment method was declined. Please contact your payment provider directly."

 

The following error indicates that the transaction may have been processed twice.  Please contact our sales team via email (sales@untangle.com) or phone (Option 1).  

  • "There was a duplicate transaction detected. Please check with your payment provider or contact Untangle Sales for assistance."

 

Finally this error indicates that Untangle maybe having problems with it's servers or the credit card processor is having issues.  Please contact our sales team via email (sales@untangle.com) or phone (Option 1).  

 

  • "This may have been an error with our servers. Please contact Untangle Sales for assistance."
